Big Trip raises a toast with a fan-bought shot

Artist Big Trip - along with DJ Dr. Reed, guitarist Gr3m, and four local openers - capped his seven-stop tour with an intimate and energetic performance at the Black Buzzard in Denver, CO on May 30th, 2025.

Beyond the standard staples of a Trip showthe crowd's high-pitched screams, ass shaking, heart hands, heavy bass, and a mostly shirtless set Trip was also showcasing new music. Since moving to Nashville, TN to chase more opportunities in the industry, some of Trip's newest releases have picked up some of that Tennessee twang. Songs like "STICKS AND STONES," "CAN'T IMAGINE," and "COME ALIVE" all feature acoustic guitars and a twangy vocal-style obvious nods to the hot chicken capital of the world.

I've been shooting Trip since we met in 2022 when he opened for Felly at the Glenn Miller Ballroom, and I wasn't at all surprised to be met with the same energy and compassion that first made me a fan over three years ago. No matter what position on the marquee, what venue he's playing, or who he's talking to, Trip follows his popular motto #BigLuv and treats everyone like family.

Trip is playing three more shows in Colorado (6/27-29) on the "Big Trip Summer" tour. Shows on the 28th and the 29th are confirmed at The Roxy. He'll also be playing Bonnaroo, Electric Forest Festival, and Summerfest, on top of making stops in Oklahoma, Ohio, and Texas.
